The Lost Camel
Hundreds of camels die every year from eating plastic. These curious animals nibble on the plastic bags dumped by campers and day-trippers. Ingesting the plastic results in blockages, internal infections, starvation and eventually death. Rocks of clacified plastic weighing up to 60kg are discovered in their stomachs on a daily basis.
The Lost Camel is an initiative by EDB, using the innovative resources of the UAE, to highlight the effects of irresponsible human behaviour on our natural environment.
To change their fate, we need to change our habits.
